What aspects should be paid attention to during the running-in period of the trailer?

First of all, the semi-trailer should be systematically checked during the running-in period to see whether the connection with the main engine is correct and reliable, whether the braking system is normal, whether the tire pressure of the semi-trailer meets the standard, and whether there is looseness, cracking and deformation in various parts of the semi-trailer.

Then the load of the semi-trailer during the running-in period shall not exceed 80% of the rated load weight; when driving at medium speed, attention should be paid to the temperature of the bearings and wheel hubs. After driving about 40 kilometers, the leaf springs, wheels and other fasteners should be tightened once, and they can be used normally after tightening three times.

Secondly, during the driving of the trailer, attention should be paid to check whether the brakes are hot, whether there is any abnormal smell, whether the trailer travel device is offset, etc. If there is any abnormal phenomenon, stop the car immediately to check and eliminate it.

Fourth, when loading sharp and heavy goods, be careful to avoid damaging the car body.

Fifth, pay attention to smooth driving, predict the braking distance in advance, and minimize emergency braking.

Sixth, check the tire bearing clearance regularly. When checking, jack up the car body and turn the wheel to see if there is obvious shaking; if there is obvious shaking, adjust it.
